Yesterday my cousin Lewis and Nicky came to Glamis Castle with us and we saw beautiful beds. We went to the park and I went on the flying fox all by myself.

Yesterday my family and i went to the deer park. First I got the food and went to feed the deers. I fed a black one, an orange one, one with antlers and one that was very special because it had spots and was orange and white. Next we went to the bird show. My favourite was the hawk because it flew over our heads and it touched my head two times.

August 7 Dundee
Today we went to Dundee. First my brother, Harry, Daddy, Mummy, and I went to the swimming pools. Mummy and I went on the rapid river. It would push you round and round in circles and it was really fast. I felt happy. Next my Mummy and I went to buy my school uniform. We got black shoes with flowers on, a grey dress, two blue skirts and three white tops. I felt excited!
Hello my darling girl and gorgeous Harry and Mummy and Daddy too- Lewis and I had a lovely stay with you and I loved making the paper dolls and going down to the beautiful beach with you and Lewis. You were so great at climbing over the rocks with your new gumboots on and you and Lewis found lots of treasure in the rocks. Weren't those rocks smooth and such beautiful colours. We loved our fish and chips at Anstruther and it was so kind of Daddy to join such a long queue to get them, but while he did that you and Harry got a great ride on the merry-go-round, although it was a bit slow for someone who has been on the wild rides at Water World in Dubai, wasn't it? We had fun making the special afternoon tea for everyone and you and Lewis lit the candles and decorated everything so well - the strawberry tarts were delicious, even though yours had a bit of an adventure before it got to your mouth...I loved looking at all the beautiful old buildings in Crail and those wonderful castles - remember your special bear at Glamis Castle and your special owl at Falkland Palace?
ReplyDeleteWe did so many lovely things in just a few days - it was a great holiday and we loved it - Lewis still wants to be there but he has had to go back to school...Loads of love to you and everybody and give Harry a big hug from us too -(Your school uniform sounds great - I wish Lewis could have flowers on his shoes instead of the usual dirt...)Love Nicky and Lewis.
Hello lovely girl - I've been talking to Candy and Duncan on the phone this morning and they are off to see you all...They sound very excited and I am going to be looking after the pussy cats with James while they are away. Johnny and Rosie are well and send their love to you and Harry - Trina and Sophie were wondering what is going on and why are those big suitcases there and being filled with those clothes? They will be thoroughly spoilt by James, Lewis and me so will be quite happy while C & D are away. Lewis has gone off to school today a bit cross because he has to run the cross country race on Monday and they are practising all week which he hates and he wishes he could have had another week of holiday just to avoid it. ReplyDeleteWhat a lot of parties you go to in Crail! And what a lot of nice things you have to eat! They'll have trouble getting Madeleine in the plane door when it's time to come back to Auckland. You'll have to get all fit again to show us your Scottish dancing. Keep enjoying the lovely place you're living in - there aren't many places in the world that are nicer.
